Our Mission Statement

Camp Harmattan exists to provide an excellent Christian camping environment where people can develop spiritually, physically, mentally and socially into fully committed followers of Christ.

Our Vision Statement:

We will accomplish our mission in the following ways:
• We will hire qualified, engaged and committed staff
• We will provide a safe environment in a beautiful and natural setting
• We will provide high energy, fun, well planned programs and activities for youth, families and other demographic groups
• We will provide excellent Biblical instruction and Christian teaching in harmony with our statement of faith
• We will provide opportunities to develop new friendships and relationships
• We will facilitate likeminded guest groups
• We will promote an ongoing and ambitious plan of infrastructure maintenance and development

Our Core Values:

• We are a Christian Camping Association with strong ties to the Canada West District of the Church of the Nazarene
• We are purposefully an evangelical organization with a focus to reach youth and adults with the Gospel of Christ
• We are committed to nurture and disciple believers of all ages into a life of holiness and godliness
• We adhere to Biblical principles and the statement of faith and doctrine of the Church of the Nazarene
• We believe in the need to build and nurture the traditional total family unit
• We are committed to building strong Christian leaders
