Our hope is that Camp Harmattan is the destination of choice for your next retreat, campout, life event, reunion, or weekend away! Our large, competitively priced site accommodates a variety of groups in search of a nature escape with camping, programming, and event focused amenities.

Our pricing is built on three primary factors: the size of your group, the length of your stay, and the services you would like to personalize your guest experience. Harmattan offers rental group rates with or without food and/or programming services.

South Camp

  • Longhouse: overnight capacity for 154 people (14 cabins with capacity for 11/cabin)
  • Spruce Lodge: overnight capacity for 32 people (8 cabins with capacity for 4/cabin (booking availability depends on time of year)
  • Kitchen and Dining Hall: Commercial kitchen and seating for 185 people
  • Outdoor Amphitheatre

  • Aspen Lodge: overnight capacity for 52 people (average of 4 people/room)
  • Birch Lodge: overnight capacity for 14 people (2 people/room)
  • Coffee Cabin: commercial kitchen and dining capacity for approximately 63 guests
  • Meeting spaces

 Group Rental FAQ’s

Can we cook for ourselves?

Absolutely! On both the family side and the youth side we have commercial kitchens that groups can use to cook and prepare their own meals.

Do you have meal packages?

Please contact camp rental representative about cost and special diets. Food services is based off of minimum 50 guest.

Do you have meeting space for our corporate retreat?

We have a number of different meeting spaces available for groups to use. Meeting spaces have tables and chairs set up in a way that suits your group best!

Can your meal packages accommodate special dietary restrictions?

We ask that anyone with a special dietary needs provide their own substitutions. Our kitchen staff can prepare these options in a food safe manner but you will need to provide the item and/or an additional food service cost will be included.

Can I have pets at camp?

No, our cabins and buildings are pet free. Please leave your pet or pets at home during your Group Booking

Do you have hook ups at your camp sites?

We do not have sewer hook up. Each site has access to power and there are water spigots throughout the campground for you to use. We ask that trailers come full as it is difficult on our system to fill numerous trailers. Water is available in Olds & Sundre.

Is there power in the cabins?

Yes, there are limited outlets in each cabin for items to be plugged in.

Does each cabin have its own bathroom?

We have shared bathroom facilities for the cabins. Washrooms are located close to the cabins.

Can I have pets in the cabins?

No, our cabins are pet free.


Rental Group Booking Process

It is our privilege to assist you with planning and preparing for your booking. To begin the process and receive an approximate quote based on the information you provide, please complete step one, and our staff will support you based on your booking needs: 

  1. Fill out the short Rental Group Inquiry form
  2. A member of the Harmattan staff team will contact you to discuss your preferred dates, ask you for more detailed information, and provide you with an approximate quote or tour to assist you with your decision-making. 
  3. Once you decide to proceed with your booking, you will receive a General Rental Agreement with more accurate costing. To secure your rental booking, you will be required to provide Camp Harmattan with the following: 
    1. A copy of the the signed General Rental Agreement; 
    2. A deposit proportional to the total amount of your agreement; and
    3. Proof of insurance for your booking (this may be completed at a later stage). 
  4. A member of our staff team will connect with your group liaison prior to your booking to confirm outstanding details, as well as greet you when you arrive for your stay. 
  5. Following your stay, a finalized invoice will be sent to you, with final payment due within thirty days of receipt of the invoice.
